Guidestar.org      you have to get a sign in. (email and password)     Drum Corps International      Click on Tax Forms.   Yes, 990's  itemize  revenues and expenses.   All non profits are listed on guidestar.org.   Reading corps 990's  is more interesting than most posts on DCP.       DCI spends $496,000 a year on credit card fees. Cost of going cashless.

You got me looking at DCI's 990's

This is interesting

Took a pay cut during the Covid era, the Board made up for it in the post-Covid flush. All in all, he was a bit underpaid relative to the org's revenues in the 2010s, and is now In the range of what CEOs of non-profit organizations in the $12-15 million revenues range make these days.

The era of expecting top execs to work for half their market value because the employer is non-profit is pretty much done.

Wow, I want that 104% raise.  Just kidding. I’m happily retired. What day is it anyway? 😉

If DCI gives out pensions to retired employees, maybe it's based on the last three years.   Wonder what the new Director will be starting at.

I get 2% hike in December.
Total retirement is in future; thinking May 2025 (in time to watch BD 5-peat)

Might be able to get a small house in Carmel on that salary.
Hope DCI is sequestering $ for legal fees.

I think the new director already lives in Indianapolis. I think I read that in an article about him and water sports.

Well that’s certainly convenient.   I didn’t know Indianapolis was a water sports destination.
