Popular Post Jake W.
Alright, I admit, a bit of a sensationalist title for the thread, but I wanted to congratulate Bluecoats on this historic accomplishment! I asked the questions in the Finals thread, and @c.l. answered me that it had been since '02 that anyone other than BD had had an undefeated season, and I could not believe it - but upon further investigation, they were indeed correct. Blue Devils have had SIX (well-deserved!) undefeated seasons in that time frame: 2010, 2012, 2014, 2017, 2022, & 2023. The few champions who have bested BD in the last 22 years (2018 SCV, 2016 Bloo, 2013 Crown, 2011 Cadets, 2008 Phantom, 2006 Cavies, 2005 Cadets, & 2004 Cavies) were all bested at some point by BD or others during their respective championship season(s). This is a massive accomplishment from the Bluecoats this year. Congrats, Bluecoats!!!! This is a historic year for the corps, and, for drum corps history! 14 6

I’m not often correct on this site, so I’ll take it. 😂

FormerXyloWhiz
I'm pretty sure Blue Devils 1994 was undefeated. That show was a monster - LOVED IT. Made it a point to catch their victory runs whenever possible so they could blow my face off.

ColaPanther
I have to keep reminding myself that Cadets didn't go undefeated in 2005. You'd think they did, as dominant as their show ended up being that year.
FormerXyloWhiz
I may be misremembering as I aged out the year prior, but didn't Cadets 2000 go undefeated? Cavies tied at finals - but that's not technically a defeat!
