Honestly, I had a hiatus from following the activity from then of the 2000 finals to the start of the 2013 finals.   When E=MC2 hit I was like "wtf. Crown? where did they come from all of a sudden?"

Then I looked at the staff and "oh. lookit all that Star influence."  Having had high school friends march with Star from 90-92 and being one of the Indiana bando kids that cheered their rise in the late 80s, it suddenly made sense.

Really?!  I’ve always associated you with BD!  But that’s great…I adore PR too. They are on a roll 🙂

I'm very unhomerish these days.   Just love excellence and entertainment anywhere in the activity.

Listening to this was so nice. I have to say and I’ve said it all season this percussion team was awesome. Listening to this and hearing the perspective up close feels like Crown ultimately has found there percussion team that meshes so well with the brass line. Major kudos to the Members and Staff.

I heard 5-6 of the percussion tapes this season. Every single one of them commented on the drill demand they faced, which I thought was just funny that every judge was noticing how much they were moving! Great finals run though from the entire percussion ensemble (sorry FE I don't show you guys more love)! Definitely excited to see what Hobbs and Walker bring to the members next year. Decent amount of age outs but they now know what the returning members can handle so they can probably push them even more.
