So much mention of recent Cavaliers' shows about "being a Cavalier," rather than just "being the Cavaliers." Understand, but ... here's my question: 2019's "Wrong Side of the Tracks" was a stunning production! Why does it not play into this narrative more? (I am sensing that some of staff issues that led to this past season might have already been in play. Curious.)

Of course, when Pete Weber was announced as the drill writer they said they'd be switching back to bent knee back then.

Covid and staff issues derailed a wonderful show idea for 2020 which would have been very well received. No idea where that show music went, but it was a great reset then...

For those who haven't heard it, 2021's exhibition show started with a piece called Themata, which goes *hard*.  Would love to see that in another program.

I cannot wait to hear the Cavaliers playing some Bocook arrangements!! Seriously excited for this season.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to swing by and say thank you for the concerning dm's I received when I disappeared. Truthfully, I was and I'm currently not doing great. I took on too many responsibilities at work without the proper pay and it seemed like I couldn't get away from it. I'll admit it, on Christmas Eve I broke down and decided to step down from my leadership position to spend time with my friends and family (I never had time to see them). It also felt like I had to sacrifice the one thing I love the most... music. 

I never realized how many individuals I helped by just sending positive messages, listening, and simply cheering for the greatest corps on the planet. To those I let down, I apologize and words can't describe how bad I feel. 

Truthfully, I still want to work for this corps someday. Throwing away passion for something that isn't exactly meaningful is just silly. I have A LOT of work to do. I also have been mentally developing a series of show ideas that are pretty interesting. At least my family thinks so lol. 

I never should have let the trolls on here get to me either. So just for yall.... WOOOOOOOOOO GO CAVIES! WOOOOOO
