Just wondering if anyone knows who some of the arrangers were over the years for Disney's Future Corps.  Just watched a video of them performing the theme from "The Jetsons" cartoon. Fantastic arrangement!

They did a "verbatim" of Kingsmen's Mambo too.  Don't know who did their arranging, but likely someone from either Kingsmen or V.K.  Many Drum Corps alumni work for the mouse.

Have you checked out their Disneyland counterpart, Magic Kingdom Korps? I believe their arrangements were more authentically drum corps in style. (But I supposed there was a lot of sharing between the two corps.) Both are great!

I recall watching [to death] a rendition of Metheny’s First Circle. Think it was back from, maybe, 1997.

The drill portion was interesting, but their screamer soprano’s were straight up ridiculous.

FWIW, I’m assuming G bugles, as DCI didn't adopt B flat horns until ‘99ish?, so I figured quasi corps gigs rolled with those.

I have the 1991 Future Corps cd. There are different brass arrangers listed. Los Hermanos De Bop - Chris Sharp, Sesame Street - Robert Franklin, One More Time Chuck Corea - Wayne Downey, Theme From the Jetsons - Chris Sharp, Blues In the Night - Chris Sharp, La Fiesta - Chris Magee, God Bless The Child - A. Herzog Jr., Channel One Suite - Chris Sharp, Everybody Loves The Blues - Chris Sharp, Malaguena - Chris Magee. Jon Campese and Mick Heberling were the percussion arrangers. The recording was done by Robert W. Smith

I remember walking into the stadium one of the years Finals was in Orlando.  Saw some of Future Corps warming up before their performance.  I thought to myself about the person that I heard playing, “wow, that is one screaming soprano player”.  Then, as I got closer, I saw that it was a mello 😳.

Yes.  Among many jobs there he was a "Jammator"
