OK, Eric. That's a good first shot, probably more coherent than the first thing I ever wrote. I will pass on the advice my mentor gave me: "Your pencil has two ends. Try using the eraser and take out about half the notes."

I was a bit taken aback and asked, "Well,which ones should I take out?". He replied, "Any ones that don't absolutely, positively have to be there."

It was the best compositional advice I ever got.

Keep writing, and use both (virtual) ends.

Nice job! First half was enjoyable.  The second half was a little ram-y for rams' sake (imo).  Super fun, though.

I'd say the level overall might be grade 3+ just based on the BD part independence (it would take a decent HS DL several rehearsals to get it serviceable).

Not bad, overall.

I'd give it a Grade 3. Last part was ramrod for ramrod's sake, following what ranintothedoor said. Starting at measure 22, I would drop the 6's to standard 16th note runs, mainly to save the hands and heads of the kids, piggybacking on what ironlips said.
