Historical Drum Score Recaps Request

Hi folks,

I’m sure there may have already been a post about this, but I feel that starting a new one can better serve attention on the subject.

I’m compiling a history of junior corps drum score recaps of the major competitions throughout drum corps history (that’s DCI, VFW, and AL).  I’ve been lucky to find some great help from notable drum corps historians and researchers/publications.  Trust me: if the pub exists, I’ve either read it or I’ve been helped with screenshots of pages.

Unfortunately, there are still some years/competitions that are eluding me.  As I’ve combed every major historical page on Facebook (e.g., Belleville), there are still missing pieces.  

So: who knows anyone who has on them the drum score recaps to the following years, in reverse-chronological order:

 - 1974-1975, 1977-onward: VFW or AL recaps

 - 1969: VFW Prelims recaps

 - 1957: VFW Finals recaps

 - 1955: VFW Finals recaps

 - 1952 and prior: VFW or AL recaps

Can we see what we can find?  As many of these recaps are quite elusive, I hope to at least publish them for public viewing on a YouTube channel.  (example: Top scoring drum sections of the year 1950).

does anyone still have a copy of the Jodeen Popp books? they may have some. i for the life of me cannot find them

Jodeen Popp’s publications are definitely out of print, and so far the only people I know that have copies are definitely holding on tight (understandably so).

Either way, I’m definitely on the look out for a copy (one day, hopefully).

I have all of Jodeen's books (I contributed material for them also).

None of this information is in any of her books.
