Prelims performance times are determined by averaging the scores of San Antonio, Atlanta/DeKalb, and Allentown. If a corps is not at one of those shows, the scores from the most recent competition prior to that event are used instead. To the left of the corps name are the current average, to the right are the scores needed to pass the group above them in rankings; for example, if Bluecoats score a 95.000 at Allentown and Boston scores above a 95.913, Boston will be the first ranked corps for Prelims seeding.

93.925 Bluecoats 0.000

93.469 Boston 0.913

91.881 Blue Devils 3.175

91.669 Vanguard 0.425

90.444 Phantom 2.450

89.756 Crown 1.375

88.100 Mandarins 3.313

86.338 Stars 3.525

85.919 Cavaliers 0.838

85.675 Troopers 0.488

84.131 Knights 3.088

83.819 Colts 0.625

81.406 Madison 4.825

80.675 Spirit 1.463

80.169 Crest 1.013

79.019 Crossmen 2.300

77.750 Academy 2.538

77.588 Music City 0.325

74.475 Cascades 6.225

74.325 Genesis 0.300

Thanks! Also, while there’s no reason to believe your approach is wrong, there’s been a notable lack of transparency this year from DCI regarding how seeding at regionals and prelims is being done. We can assume they’re using the same methodology as the past, but then that doesn’t explain how they handled Blue Stars at San Antonio. DCI published an explainer article each year for the past few years explaining their process, but not this year.

And since judges can hold numbers seeding only matters for logistics

It's the same process as always, it's in the DCI Policy and Procedures document that's available on their website. They did deviate from that policy for the Blue Stars situation, but the process it self is the same.

Have the show’s “pods” been set yet relative to intermissions? Last group is three, four or five?

The current schedule leaves no room for intermissions.

Spirit is going to score high enough to go ahead of Madison. I also think Music City can go ahead of The Academy but probably not Crossmen. At least for Allentown purposes. It'll be interesting to see Troopers/Cavaliers especially because Troopers are on Friday and Cavies are on Saturday.

I don't think judges can hold numbers from Friday until Saturday in Allentown.  Same judges for both nights but treated as two separate contests. I don't understand your statement.
