I started a new thread on this without searching for one in World Class, because they've announced application for Open Class/Soundsport for 2026. I understand that feelings run deep amongst alumni of the original organization, but I don't think this is in any way a good idea or a good look. Their sentiments are admirable, but the branding crosses the line. I'm actually surprised that someone hasn't come forward to bring this to the attention of the Bergen County, NJ court that handled the main lawsuit or the Western PA Bankruptcy Court that administered the Chapter 7 bankruptcy case that stipulated (unless I'm mistaken) no version of the corps can be fielded again. While Legacy may not be financially connected or be a differently organized 501 c3 group, my understanding that any likeness of the original organization may not be used, in any future endeavor. This is clearly being flaunted by the new group, who are using the Cadets color scheme and traditional flourishes in their announcement imagery. Is this a risk really worth taking?

The group starting Legacy has purchased from the Bankruptcy Court  everything that you are concerned about.

That is wonderful, if true. Is there any way to prove that?

Go back through older threads on this when the news first broke or shortly after. One of (I think) organizers offered his personal email for answering questions, He seemed vey sincere. Can't remember his name, however. Someone else might recall it.

I believe out of bankruptcy Legacy got some of the "legacy" tied to the Cadets.
