wigwam Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 Is there a place to park your car near military park? I am not going to the show Thursday night but want to hang out in the park and watch warmups. Any parking tips would be appreciated, I'm staying at a hotel far from downtown so I'll need to drive. Quote
LabMaster Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 Are judges who have done Open prelims or championship judging, eligible for world judging? Quote

Yes There paid lots not to far from Military Park to the South, West (IU INDY area) and North. Quote

In past judges that haven done Open prelims or championship have not done any world judging. DCI doesn't like the costs for keeping judges in Indianapolis all week. One and done is usually what happens. Quote

There were more than a few judges who judged both Open class and World class (though not necessarily the exact same caption between the two). Quote

IDK about now, but in 2000 I sat next to a very prominent percussion judge at the Class A/A-60 finals. So even if they aren’t judging, I suspect many of them are around. After all, they are Drum Corps fans. 2 Quote
Drumcorpsgal Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 Does last year’s champion always go last in prelims? Is that true for semi-finals and Finals too? Quote
