I’m not getting that vibe from reading it. It certainly doesn’t sound like it was his desire to leave. 4 Quote

It appears this where I get off this train but congratulations to the incredible performers and teammates of the Boston Crusaders. We set out with a mission 9 years ago/7 competitive seasons ago. Mission accomplished for all involved. I have no idea what is next for me but l'll be ready for a new ride with new teammates and new incredible performers. Or maybe l'll just write a book about all of the crazy adventures. Cheers!" Didn’t see that coming. Best of luck to him! Quote

They didn’t like the direction. Squeaked out a win on performance alone. Future ideas weren’t up to par. Disagreements during the season. Or simply another name entering the arena for them. Who knows. Edited August 11, 2025 by TheOneWhoKnows 2 Quote

People in creative roles tend to thrive on challenge, and growth. Over time, if their work starts feeling repetitive or constrained, they may feel it’s time for a change. 2 Quote

I saw comments on a Boston post that indicated they let him go. Boston post said Champion Built. Maybe a family member with the last name Potter commented “Built by Keith Potter” and a second family member commented and said “This. Why couldn’t they be bothered to wait a week? It is SO disappointing to see this happen. Shame on you, Boston Crusaders. People expect employers to do better and this is actively what’s wrong with so many things in America.” Quote
craiga Posted August 11, 2025 Posted August 11, 2025 I have zero insider knowledge about this development, but I suspect that both Keith and Boston will be fine. 4 Quote

lawdn Posted August 11, 2025 Posted August 11, 2025 I don't like the shade thrown the way of Mr. Potter and BAC's GE and visual captions. Boston finished 0.1 behind in GE to a corps at the top of its game, and Boston won overall Visual at Finals. It was superb design, and I found it thrilling to watch, especially live. Whatever the reasons for this decision, congratulations to them, and Boston and Mr. Potter will do very well. 7 1 Quote
