I'll throw an idea in the ring. I've been considering a show concept related to tides and the relationship between moons, planets, and oceans. It could be called "Celestial Waltz," featuring lots of asymmetrical drills and curvilinear designs. I think Crown could do some amazing soundscaping with this concept.

as a brass player I’m not even going to pretend to know how guard scores work, but I will say that the content/achievement scores throughout the year lead me to think better design might lead to better scores.

in general, the crown team really needs to find a way to elevate GE…gotta find a way to get back into that 3-4 range in GE instead of 5-6

I’m not certain guard scores weren’t more of a reflection of their staging this season over actual content of work.

Also, a lot of age outs in the guard, so they will need to attract some talent.

anyone predicting any staff changes? I feel like there were a lot of big changes after last year so maybe not a ton this fall but who knows

If you look at all the years the guard staff has been there they have averaged 5th. They are trying to be like a Boston guard but the staff are holding the kids back. 
 

And when are we going to get a drill writer that doesn’t write like the 1980s. It looks so dated compared to everyone else in finals.
