KyleS Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 Not BDA related, but apparently BDB members just got an email saying BDB is going to be 18+ starting in 2026 and will be going to Indy every year from now on. BDC will be what BDB used to be, and a new corps called Blue Devils Junior will be what BDC used to be. Very interesting. 5 3 Quote

It's interesting (complimentary) to see that there's enough interest for them to be able to shift everything to have a Cali BDB-ish group and a national one as well. Mike 2 Quote

I wonder if they'll develop BDB to go world class at some point or if they're just looking to create a niche for "big tour Open class" v. "Local tour Open class" and retain the "to be smol, cute, and talented" program? The 'non-indy' years have seemed to have somewhat smaller corps as those who do want the larger Open tour may be opting out of marching or going to Gold or somewhere else. So this plan would serve both "markets" of marchers. 2 Quote
