Played a lot of his charts in high school. What a big loss for jazz.

A true legend in the jazz world and Southern California. Love all his charts and the Big Phat Band was always amazing. Below is a short clip of Gordon and his buddy speaking with john Williams after a Hollywood Bowl concert.
