In my second year for SCV-A Corps (1991) I was being egged on by another horn player in my section to call the entire Corps to Attention. Hey man..... you were a DM, call the corps to attention. So.......... in 1991 as a Vanguard 3rd Soprano player and high school kid I called: CORP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A-TEN-HUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I ever belted out that command with more presence and authority. The ENTIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CORPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of VANGUARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SNAPPED TO ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Including the DM's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ************** Oh yea, me and the guy egging me on got totally roasted by the head horn instructor. 1 Quote
