O.K., let me take this thread off on a tangent...........................

Remember being in band and playing "Sleigh Ride" every Christmas????

Which part did you try to monopolize??

bells??

sleigh bells??

temple blocks??

whip??

or did you hang out behind the chimes 'scoping out eye candy?? 'fess up!!!!

and who else had this running through their head--"that prima donna trumpet player thinks he's the bomb with that lame horse whinny, but without this (bell)(sleigh bell)(temple block)(whip crack) part, this song would totally suck..."?? ^0^

C'mon. I thought this one would be HUGE! dahtdahtdahtdahtdahtdaht The BREAK DRUM! The most loved and hated toy in the pit. (Well it is not really classified as a toy). Often overplayed in the early 90's and can be heard from over three football fields away. Just piercing to cut over the sop line too!!!

Break Drum and Cowbell. Break drum because it's insanely loud and it really stands out, not to mention it's just plain fun to play. Cowbell because it's fun and downright cool.

HAHAHAHHAHA

Every Christmas for 5 years straight! Yess!

I monopolized the temple block part, actually. Gotta love the whip (slapstick), but it isn't played very often in the song, and our slapstick was so loud it made my ear drums rattle if I played it, so I avoided it, lol.
