wheelerand
I've been watching some old Cavies' performances this weekend, and I really love the precision of those color guards. I also like the fact that their uniforms match the uniforms of the corps!! They seem to add a lot to the corps that way, rather than being a separate entity. The capes were a great touch, too. GMichael1230
Cavies guard 79-94......awe inspiring. I will never forget Allentown, 1980. Cavaliers were on the field, I was in the stands, and they were rotating their "wedge" and the color (orange) used by the guard, double silks, Orange highlights on the rifles.....I was stunned, and I still recall that moment to this day ........1980 Alentown was a very important day for me in regards to getting me "hooked" .....every corps was "on the money" ~~G~~
Bobbie'
I agree with guard uniforms matching the corps in some way. It can make the entire corps look huge.
