jojo
My only disappointment with the SCV Alumni Corps is that I won't get to see them again in California this year. Or does anyone know of anywhere else they're performing? Hi Glenn, One senior corps member to another ... you have an open invitation to come down to the SCV Hall on any Monday night and check out the run thrus. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy! GregGilman
For once, I remembered to stop my cheering for a sec, point my camera at the field and click. Ladies and gentlemen... The Bottle Dance I gotta tell you, this old Blue Devil was feeling mighty envious of all my SCV/Renegade brothers and sisters in the alumni corps. They rock! Anyone going to DCI should make SURE to see them! More pics from the weekend coming to the Renegades site soon! See you on the 50. - Greg
VHornBoy
I marched SCV 93-96 A corps, and had the oppurtunity to march the '97 alumni corps and '02 alumni corps. I stood next to Don, who marched in the Sparks way back when, boy is he loud. It was great pleasure and an honor playing with all of you this year. PP would be my only performance this year with you since I can't go to DCI for certain reasons. Enjoy, keep practicing, and see you soon when we do this again. JimmySCV
Hey Trish! Actually the white boots did make an appearance that night. During the retreat, the guard captian and one of the DM's went out in the 'old school' uniforms. She had on the traditional red tunic with a skirt and white boots. What a cool sight to see the new mixed in with the old! d### that made me proud to be an SCV alum. B) Thanks for the pic, Greg. That's a great shot! See you in Madison!! SCV_Snare_81
What an awesome experience. Sharing the field with many of my heros of SCV past years... Playing music that I only dreamed of doing - i.e. bottledance, phantom etc... Wow... Thank you Scott Pierson, Ralph Hardimon, Dan Vannatta, Dan Smith, Rick South, Tom Tolbert, Dave Dilullo, Curt Moore and the many others who made this possible! I can't wait for DCI!
