You left off Les Chatelaines.  Three DCI All-Girl titles and one Class A Championship ain't nothing to sneeze at.  B)

Yep, I loved that corps! :grouphug:

Definately Les Chatelaines

Their '81 & '82 shows were waaaaaayyyyyyy ahead of their time. The uniforms, the floppy fold away hats, the chairs, the bizarre guard equipment.

Too cool :grouphug:

Wish an all-girl corps of that caliber would make a come back (go Bandettes - I'd love to see what a 135 member all female corps could do).

Later,

Mike

I have to say St. Iggies. I grew up across the park from their practice field. from the time I was a little boy, I used to go to bed during the summertime and open my window. I could just about see the lights from my room and I would listen to them do run throughs at the end of the night.

I then got a little older and became good friends (yeah, yeah) with many of them before I ever even had any idea to march myself.

they were a tough group of girls who I am very proud to call my friends.

My vote went to the Bon bons...adjacent to Audobon is the town of Haddonfield, home of yet another all-girl corps "in the day", the Royaleers.

I used to compete against an all-girl corp from Paramus in 68/69 (in the Garden State Circuit), the Mountettes.
