I can't believe there aren't more votes for the Seneca Optimists. The show where they hid the entire Lemon Yellow corps under the giant parachute is a Drum Corps Classic. There music was quite impressive too!

Scout House should be on the pole list!!!!!!!

Unafortunately, We are dating ourselves!

Alot of people here don't remember Seneca!(Not a slam-don't crucify me!)

As for Scout House(see my earlier post) The biggest response would probably be: WHO?? :(

Gotta go with Dutchboy. 1987 - 1989 are three of the most overlooked and underappreciated shows in DCI history.

Man you just made my day! I often reflect back on those days. They were some of the best of my life. To hear you say that, just makes it that much sweeter. Thanks.

Canadian wannabe,

Derek

Hey Derek:

As far as I'm concerned if you marched in Dutch Boy, you're an "HONORARY CANADIAN".

I was one of the first Dutch Boy Cadets back in 1969 and I marched until 1978. We had a lot of Americans go through our ranks in the past 35 years and they are all WELCOME to come to practise or housing anywhere the corps is as long as they introduce themselves to the corps director first.

Anyway, I'm forming an ALUMNI association of the Northstar Youth Organization and you are already a member. Send me an email of your personal info and I'll tell you all about it.

ALUMNI are the back bone of any drum corps. You can't have a future without a past!! B)
