MsBusDriver
No, those are all 1981. 27 and Blue Stars didn't look like that in 1982. (Blue Stars REALLY didn't look like that in 82.) Well then Sir, I stand corrected. However, I plead ignorance on how Corps looked in '81 and '82 because I was completely away from DC for about 7 years. I came back into the fold in '83 and I'm sure glad I did! P.S. Sweet! I'm on pg 1982. Fill 'er Up TT... tommytimp
Ahem. *cracks knuckles, drinks G1* Valley Femur: Imperial Guard: Veekers: I don't know who this is, or what song this is. Little help? Seattle Imperials.
tommytimp
1982 rolls on. Capitolaires: Pioneer Container: Scouts. Ice Castles. Loudness. Phantom. They should do Spartacus again. It might really work out well for them. Alliance of Greater WEIRD: Phantom Cadets, Hanson Park Stadium, Chicago. In the back stands are the joliet Kingsmen after doing the first show in the history of the corps. My brothers and me, doing (badly) the Spirit of Atlanta three-man salute. troopers1
I don't know who this is, or what song this is. Little help? Sky Ryders? I could be wrong, but my HS band director toured with them in the early '80s and loved the rainbow so much, we had to use it twice (once as a rainbow, once as a red-white-and-blue rainbow). BariBrian
That is the Sky Ryders, you are correct. They were playing a Larry Kirsher arragemnet of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" Edited February 28, 2011 by BariBrian
