ripper
They were from Olds, I think ... Her's a pic of one from the Des Plaines Vanguard BITD. Funny, I don't think that many corps used Mellos, French & Flugelhorns - just not enough bodies. We did do Flugels and Mellos then went to all Mellos a year later. But that was back pre DCI when great hornlines only had about 30 or so players. I think the above pic is and Olds French to best my knowledge Edited August 30, 2011 by ripper
BRASSO
and the guy on the right is thinking, "eat 'em up Boston...(sigh)" He probably was at the Quincy show this year. The kiddies with the 27th signs ? They're long gone now and probably driving their kids to soccer or hockey practice these days. lindap
End of Bridgemen, 82 I think. Awesome photo! Thank you. I absolutely loved Bridgemen when I saw them in 1976 and again in Birmingham 1979 while sitting on my purse because the seats were so hot and so were Bridgemen! I remember smiling throughout the prelim and final show in 1979 I took photos of photo albums at our reunion July 2011. In 1977, at our last show, we did the fall down, a tribute to Bridgemen and Bobby Hoffman, AAG's drill designer winter/spring 1974. The ladies remember him :) Thanks again. A photo given to me from Mike Duffy. We did the fall down twice in
