Jim Anello
VIPs Color Guard from the 12 Feb 1969 DCN from Duane C. Wow! Those are some knee heights. Didn't John Brazale instruct this guard?
lindap
Wow! Those are some knee heights. Didn't John Brazale instruct this guard? Hi Jim, Those are impressive knee heights. Perhaps John instructed the VIPs. We know he taught the Mariners. Are we allowed to alter the history books? I may have a still of Donald Angelica from a 1977 winter guard video when he was technical effect judge. Respectfully, lindap

GrewvyG2
Great photo. I remember watching the Royales perform in 72. We, (the Flint Guardsmen of MI), had done our performance and watched as we waited for retreat. Great corps. Those are some knee heights! Eatontown NJ Royales (my alma mater!), 1972. DPEmerald
I'm not sure why the big guy didn't have the biggest cymbals, plus it would have made the people and cymbals go smallest to biggest. Just the visual aspect of my thinking coming out, sorry.
