troopers1
That has to be Blue Coats. They had blue plumes on white helmets, blue jackets with white sashes/stripes
bd5times
The pit isn't wearing jackets! I had no idea and I was there wailing away in the background somewhere!Sam, Rob what the heck? I'm shocked! I don't remember the pit "not" wearing the jackets at all. Looking at the glare of the lights, it looks almost like the cumberbund in the pit is blue. If so, those would look like the "B" corps uniform for that time. I don't recall that at all........

ffernbus3
Had to bump. There's a good collection of Kingsmen pics that are always being added to at http://www.xkingsmen.com And Maggie, that is still one of my favorite pictures of you. It's that look of determination that I like....it says volumes about old school guards, yes, but even more about the equality of purpose that drum corps fostered between the genders.....women were a lot more "equal" in drum corps back in those days than probably any other part of society in general. We guys were taught or somehow learned some valuable lessons early about how to respect women as friends, sisters and equals, not to mention how drum corps put no limitations on "what a woman should be." Sorry....riffing on the obvious. RON HOUSLEY
