Congratulations Tim on winning our first ever Review Contest! Tim's review "My First Show" successfully captured an overwhelming first place in both the nomination & voting portions of the contest - and he has selected as his prize his very own copy of the 2002 DCI Championship Finals DVD - which should ship from DCI in early November. Tim's personal account of his first ever live DCI show captured the hearts of many readers and reminded each of us of *our* first DCI experiences - a perspective readers certainly seemed to find refreshing and enjoyable. This talented young writer will be one of our DCP Columnists this fall. Readers of the column will follow him during his preparations for his first ever tryouts for the Phantom Regiment this November. Next on the horizon in awards contests on DCP - our 2002 "DCP Awards" Program - which we will discuss starting in October. Nominations will be accepted during January & awards (by vote) during early February. During October we will begin gathering ideas for naming our awards program and for various catagories for the community awards. Watch for an announcement soon. Congratulations again Tim. Great Job!
