84BDsop
The onfield warmup doesn't happenan hour before, which is more than a "LITTLE" before showtime. Creating ambience should happen when your corps is entering or leaving, not for an hour before. HOWEVER....her direct interaction with the audience is between other corps' performances....not during. When someone else starts up, she sits down (in fact...I REALLY envy her...she gets to see everyone else...something you know those of us in the top corps almost never get a chance to do.) If I had never seen this thread and she came by me at some point, I would just tink she was a bit off and ignored her....then freaked when I saw her on the field and focused on the show...which is sorta the idea. She's probably better behaved during other corps' shows than many fans....I sorta doubt we'd hear her yell "CRRRRYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSTTTTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA".... ^0^
Scadesfan
I don't think so. I looked on Yahoo Yellow Pages and the Holy Name Church isn't at that address. Several other people said that it come from The Adams Family show. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, I was incorrect. Just did a search and the address of the Holy Name Church is 99 Marsellus Pl, Garfield. I should have done the search last night but it was late. So sorry my source was incorrect. octavia9299
I went to San Antonio last night and wasn't hip to the whole "character" thing. I thought maybe she was out doing a meet-and-greet. So I stupidly said, "Hey, are you from Cadets?" and she looked at me coldly and said "No." Sorry everyone, I blew the mood.
Guest DrumCorpFan
She is looking for 1313 Mulberry St. And to think, it happened on Mulberry Street. ($1 to Dr. Suess) :P
MiamiSun76
That's not limited to Jimmy, tho...even I did it a little last year...although I don't have 3 decades of practice like Jimmy! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It adds to the relaxed nature of DCA. Most of us would rather have chatted with Jaimie Cutrone, when she was with the Hurcs though (no offense).
AggiePhil
I really hoped we'd see one of the school girls last night at San Antonio, but alas, we didn't. Maybe none of them made it up into the nosebleed 3rd deck seats.
percman24601
This idea may be new for a Top 12 corps, but I've seen marching bands here in Arizona doing things like this for years. How odd.....Cadets doing things done by marching bands...................

She was very rude and rolled her eyes at us!!!!

Went all the way to the top, then came back down.
