Cop
GO GARFIELD!!PHANTOM AND MADISON ON FIRE!! nipping at the heels of BD, you gotta LOVE IT. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Right on! I can also see BC over BD once BC is as clean on the field.
DCM
ya but the Blecoats are beating BD in Brass and Drums??
GMichael1230
Also, what the #### is up with Crown's brass score? 16.4? No way. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jeff Mitchell is probably the most qualified brass judge around, with the most integrity too, I might add. ~G~

manoloblahniksabre
That's your opinion, and at any rate, I don't see how BAC beat them. Their score is just too low. Should be up around 17.2-ish. Jeff Mitchell is probably the most qualified brass judge around, with the most integrity too, I might add. ~G~ <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
manoloblahniksabre
The entire problem with the show is not HOW they're playing, it is what and how much. There just isn't enough music, period. Oh yeah, sure because the Blue Devils are just going to roll over and die right ?? ~G~ <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

xrifle
Attended the show tonight. Gotta say straight from a spectator's point of view, I feel the spread should have been greater between Cavaliers and Cadets. I don't see Cadets catching them this year. Don't see Regiment or the Scouts passing BD (unnecessay narration) either. Madison's ending doesn't work and PR's guard (although beautiful costumes, flags, props, etc) is disappointlingly weak. Saw my first horn player fall tonight. Treacherous drills and the field looked like a lumber yard. Much dropped equipment. Still lots of cleaning left to do from the top on down! tyandbradsdad
Why do we need scores to be down to the hundredths of a point? Oh, that's right, we can't have a tie in DCI. Come finals night how will the activity feel if a corps wins by .005 or .01? Perhaps it came down to the math tonight, but how and where can anyone explain the Cavies were 75 hundredths of a point (!) better than Cadets? If two corps are fit to be tied, then so be it already! Or do I need some edu-ma-catin'? Tim
HornPlayerChris
Well in 2003 Indianapolis is where the big shake up happened. Two weeks before finals the undefeated Cavaliers fell to Blue Devils and it stayed that way until finals. Do you all think that will happen again this year with Cadets-Cavies switch-a-roo?
