One Week To Go Predictions!

Some of you are sick of these I'm sure....but we only have one week left to do them!!

So, with one week to go, and a few shake up's bound to happen....what are everyone's predictions for Finals one week prior to the big night?

1. Cadets (weird show, but on fire!)

2. Phantom (tough call between them and Cavies....but I would love to seem them hit #2)

3. Cavies (I hear they are making some big changes....we'll see if its enough!)

4. Bluecoats (I think they have it this year to pass Blue Devils)

5. Blue Devils (may be a little off this year, but still top five)

6. Crown (they will pass Madison on Finals night)

7. Madison (awesome show, but peaking early, and if they don't change that motionless ending, they will be 7th)

8. SCV (not close to Madison, but they will be slightly ahead of BAC)

9. Boston (hometown corps gets edged by SCV....but I still love this show!)

10. Blue Knights (Very close to the SCV/Boston mix....but comes out 10th in the end)

11. Glassmen (not close to BK, but should beat Spirit)

12. Spirit (better executed than Crossmen)

13. Crossmen (they will make a late season push...but I think it is too little too late to make Finals)

14. Colts (they will come up short to make their first Finals appearance in a few years)

15. Mandarins (if they can keep this up, they just might make Finals next year)

16. Southwind (see note by Mandarins above)

17. Seattle (just barely over PC to make semis)

18. Pacific Crest (less than a point behind Seattle)

19. Capital Regiment (less than a point behind PC....what a train wreck 15-19 to make semis this year!)

20. Magic

21. Esperanza

22. Troopers

23. Pioneer

24. Kiwanis Kavaliers

I dont ever remember a year that people predicted this much. Its like every week someone wants to predict whats happening. hm oh well.

The community as a whole seems to be excited over the fact that the outcome of this season is still fairly unknown... Moreso than any other season I recall (since the late 80s)... Makes the guessing game more fun.

So here are mine:

1 - Cadets (Hard work pays off)

2 - Phantom (All about the total package)

3 - Cavies (Really good show... Not "THE" show, but certainly deserves no less than 3rd)

4 - Blue Devils

5 - Bluecoats (Great corps, Great season... Other seasons this could have been 3rd)

6 - Madison (Will be better than previous weeks, but 2 weeks of stagnate performance will catch up... still my favorite Madison show in a LONG time..)

7 - Crown (Close to Madison... As an alum, it is great to see the corps continuous progression!)

8 - Blue Knights (In effort to clean enough to pass SCV, they do so, only to find they have passed Boston as well)

9 - SCV (Late surge... enough to claim 9th)

10 - Boston (Good show, tough competition)

11 - Glassmen (Stuck in 11th...2 points from Boston, 2 points above 12th... congratulations on solidifying finalist status once again!)

12 - Colts (In the end, they just perform better than Spirit or Crossmen)

I don't think SCV will beat Boston either. Boston got a pretty raw deal the last time Finals were in Foxboro.

1. Cadets (alright, I dont like the show, but I think they will win)

2. Phantom Regiment (I want them to beat the Cadets, but I dunno if it will happen)

3. Cavies (Off year... Show is kinda boring IMO)

4. Coats (about 1 point behind Blue Devils last night, I think they have it in them)

5. BD (wont fall out of top 5, but might now get any higher.)

6. Madison (peaked early, but will still do better than the past years)

7. Crown (CLOSE to Madison, higher score than last year... GREAT show for a tough year. Would have gotten 5th of 6th last year)

8. SCV (close to Crown, beat Boston)

9. Boston (good show, 10 times better than last year, but will get passed by SCV)

10. Glassmen (late season push, they beat BK)

11. BK (close to Glassmen, but fall to Glassmen at finals)

12. Crossmen (get there show reasonably clean to make finals)
