Jocko the Wonder Llama
South Bay Medieval Barons - San Francisco, CAMasqueraders - New Orleans, LA Stardusters - Chalmette, LA Silver Sabres - Salina, KS I think that the Medieval Barons were from San Jose. But I could be wrong - its been almost 30 years since I last saw them. Geez...I'm not THAT old, am I? :(
Jd83
We're both wrong. According to Corpsreps, the Barons are from Milpitis, CA. They beat us 28.55 to 28.45 at DCI Class A Prelims in 1978. In fact, there was another corps scoring a 28 in that contest, the Golden Skyliners from Great Falls, MT (28.15). They were followed by the Drifters from Surrey, BC (26.65), and rounding out the worst of the worst, are the Gateway City Combine from St. Louis, MO (18.00). BTW, yer olde. hwmnyrds
Being a young bird, here, I feel like a child going to see a war memorial and looking at my parents to ask, "Why are there so many names here? What happened to all of them? Where did they go?" I do have one question why are so many gone?
