Penguin
ESPN 8: "The Ocho".
kevingamin
not true, We ARE ABLE to receive pbs as part of our cable or satellite lineups but we DO NOT get ESPN at all!!!Yet another way for DCI to disregard Canada. I usually don't go off like this but I am very upset by the fact that the only way I can enjoy drum corps is through purchasing a season pass which is a crappy substitute for actually being able to attend a decent show or watch the broadcast on tv. I guess it is time to drop the I from DCI. <**> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Out of curiosity, how often did you get the DCI broadcast on your PBS feed? kevingamin
I stand corrected then. A Canadian friend had told me the only way to get PBS shows in Canada was to live close enough to a US transmission antenna for a US city. My original statement, though, was in reference to getting it off the rooftop antenna from its original source of transmission. For enlightenment, is this something the entire country can now enjoy? How long has it been this way? Thanks for the info. Mike <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, when she said she was from the Great White North, I took that to mean Alaska, not Canada. Bob Brady
Well I DO have cable, but ESPN2 is not a part of my package <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Woooaaah!!Who's your cable company? I've moved around alot the last few years, and had service with the larger companies(Time-Warner, Comcast, Adelphia) and it's a part of BASIC service with all of them. Even Toledo's Independent company (Buckeye) carries it!

II/III this year, Strangnas.
wayne6
For years, supporters of DCI were complaining about the finals being on espn because it would increase the visability of the event. Now, it's on espn2 and people are still complaining. DCI is a no win situation........with drum corps fans now a days.

wayne6
Why don't DCI/DCA have tapes in Blockbusters for sale or rent? Has the idea every come up?
