Walter Posted August 30, 2005 Share Posted August 30, 2005 (edited) The Dutch Boy Drum Corps from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, is currently taking applications for the position of Corps Director. Dutch Boy is a Division III corps and was a finalist at the 2005 DCI World Championships. As an organization, we are committed to offering the youth of our communities the opportunity to experience all the positive aspects that the drum & bugle corps experience can provide. This is essentially a volunteer position that requires an individual who is organized, independent and knowledgeable about the activity, able to work with and motivate our corps members and our other volounteers. This person must also be dedicated to providing a program that will challenge our corps members to perform at their best. Iplaytimpani Posted September 16, 2005 Share Posted September 16, 2005 maybe if there was a stronger support in the community of kitchener/waterloo and by canadian governments, on top of all the other problems that come with being a canadian drum corps trying to compete in DCI, that corps wouldnt have left and many of the others that have folded would still be around. :( Dutch Boy is a great corps, and I wish them nothing but the best though!
