bill Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 Visitation for Joel ("Lothar") Magnuson will be from 9:30am to 11:30am, Saturday, September 10th, at Maresh-Meredith Funeral Home, 803 Main Street, Racine, Wisconsin. Services will be held at 11:30 am. Joel, at the request of his family, and thus so honored by his Kiltie Family, will be laid to rest in his full battle attire uniform, the uniform he wore for the final time on Saturday evening, September 3rd. The Kilties will have an Honor Guard at the request of his family, and the family request members of his much loved Kiltie Family to attend in full uniform if they choose, but not required. A wake will be held afterward at the VFW. Joel will be transported to Norway, Michigan for a ceremony with his grandmother and relatives from that area, and be placed in the family plot in Norway, Michigan. Joel's family requests any Memorials be donated to The Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps in his name.
