OK, OK...

Just finished dinner at a friend's place and rifling through some old albums afterward...

Put on YES.

So much I'd forgotten about.

Unbelievably brilliant. It is begging for a great arranger and a solid line.

I'd love to see BD take a rock risk again.

Crossmen, if you ain't busy reinventing yourselves as Arenarock Badasses (see: FooFighters), pretty please... say YES.

Roundabout... I've Seen All Good People... Owner of a Lonely Heart......

SO much excellent stuff.

I played a bunch of Yes songs in my high school marching band and it was a lot of fun. But somehow I can't fathom creating a respectable drum corps show out of it.

Knights played YES in 1989. The hornline was good.

Picturing a contra line playing Worm from the last part of Starship Troopers :)

(Hearing this in concert rattled your fillings with bass b**bs )

PS - Sounds like a Greatest hits album you played.

The 90125 album has enough for a whole show.

Yes-90125.jpg

1. Hold On/ It Can Happen Medley

2. Changes (with drum feature)

3. Leave It

4. Our Song

oooh yaah i can hear it now....I think

it's more Cavies style than BD.

BD should do RUSH.

BD should do RUSH.

BD should do The Grateful Dead (pull music from Anthem Of The Sun, Blues For Allah, the more "experimental" the music, the better) and then call the show The Grateful Dev's. The quality of the show comes not from the source material, but from the arrangements. Okay, I'll admit it... I just want them to do it because I know they'd make some cool t-shirts.

wasn't the suncoast sound drum solo in 1984 a combination of Yes' Changes and Rush' YYZ?
