kevingamin
Hey, I never got my roses! Well, if you go to DCI Finals in '07, you'll get a Rose Bowl. Will that make up for it? :D

Percussion827
Then that guy should just leave that corps.
Geoff
Really? So he should of left the corps, not received a refund on all his dues and fees, after an entire winter, because the program he was involved with was not well received, and he was in agreeance? Guard Diva
Do you people understand how much work people put into these shows? How can you bash the Cadets? The Caviliers? Or the Blue Devils? Say that they are huge let downs? If I don't get what I am expecting (whatever that may be) then yes, I am "let down".....if I don't like or care for a particular show, that doesn't mean the kids worked any less than they did in the shows I liked...it's simply my opinion....does it negate teh work that was put into it? no, not at all...it siply means I didn't like the show. Have you talked to a member or a staff member and asked about there show? The design concept and the show and what they try to accomplish can be explained and makes more sense when you talk to a member of the corps about what the show is all about. I know that after the show I didnt understand Cadets or Blue Devils! But after talking to memeber sand asking what there show was all about I understood it and what they were doing with their drill design. That is what Staff does to the judges, they explain their show, and the judges then make sense of it and look for it the next time they see them. Just my opinion, but if the show has to be explained, maybe they are trying to hard to sell an obscure concept. If the show can't stand on it's own two feet, without needing an explanation to hold it up, maybe the design should be revisited!!! again, just my opinion. Phirefenix
I've been told by my own parents eye to eye that my show in 2002 wasn't good. I knew it wasn't. It was an off year for us. Did I take grievous offence? No. It's hard to get better, to improve the product that the audience PAYS to see without negative comments right? drumlinetchr
I don't think that anyone who has a negative comment on a corps show is taking anything away from the hard work or dedication of the kids on the field. Sometimes someone may not like the show or the concept. When I go to a show why should I have to ask someone what I am watching? I'm watching drum corps, not a broadway production. I don't want to "think" I want to enjoy the show and what is happening on the field. As far as the div 2/3 comment, I enjoy the shows they do as well, and they work just as hard as the "big guys". Been there done that. Bob
