WildKnights_Director Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 (edited) Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this first of many updates regarding the Wild Knights Youth and Performing Arts based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The current administration and staff are taking those first crucial steps towards the creation of several non-profit youth education programs including: Winter Brass, Winter Percussion, Winter Guard, and with hopes of a Junior Corps as soon as the summer of 2007! We are all very excited and looking forward to the task at hand, however we do realize the tremendous responsibility and dedication it will take to see that each program survives its infancy. Please feel free to stop by our yahoo group (the official website is under construction and will be posted here soon!) and leave a kind word of support or a suggestion to see that we produce something we all can be proud of. We have had such an out-pouring of suggestions, volunteering offers, and even sponsorship that we here at Wild Knights YPA are just truly touched and amazed at what great people there are behind the scenes in DCI! Secondly, Wild Knights YPA officially has a website!! www.wildknightsypa.org is now "parked" at the godaddy.com webring pending formation and design. Also, we have begun the financial steps to begin taking on revenue that is the life-blood for building our organization. A CPA here in Oklahoma City, OK has donated her precious time to help us and with such a HUGE response from the people across the nation we are looking at an amazing future ahead of us. WildKnights_Director Posted January 30, 2006 Author Share Posted January 30, 2006 (edited) Wild Knights Youth in Performing Arts is now beginning the initial search for educational staff, volunteers, and operation/administrative staff for all areas of the youth programs offered at Wild Knights Youth in Performing Arts, which are as follows: Wild Knights YPA Administration/Operations: *Executive Director of Programs *Development Director *Public Relations Officer Wild Knights Drum and Bugle Corps: !!Each performance ensemble's educational staff (ie. winterguard, winter brass..ect) will be selected from the drum corps' staff, unless noted otherwise!!! *Executive Director (Corps Director) *Assistant Director (Tour Manager) *Staff Coordinator *Program Coordinator -Brass Caption Head and (4) Brass Technician Openings -Colorguard Caption Head and (3) Guard Technician Openings -Co-Percussion Caption Head (Battery), Co-Percussion Caption Head (Auxiliary, Front Ensemble) and (4) Technician Openings -Visual/Movement (3) Technician Openings **Program Arrangers and Designers** >Brass Arranger/Composer >Percussion Battery Arranger >Percussion Front Ensemble Arranger >Colorguard Designer !!! Please not that all this positions are as of right now unpaid positions, however we are looking in to financial compensations/small budget situation for the administrative staff and program caption heads!!!
