Congrats to all over there, but especially to my Inspires friends.

Weren't scouts pretty far back at All-Japan? I can't remember. I guess I could not be so lazy and check the archives hee hee hee

Anyway. Always super proud to be associated with Inspires - just an amazing and talented group of people and performers. :worthy:

Can't wait for Gold week in May!! Tokyo, here I come!!!!! :)

More coolness in store for 2006-7 season.

BTW, on the day after the DCJ, the drumcorps and marchingband people joined together at Kyoto.

The Western Corps Connections 2006 made a big success featuring various units from the western part of Japan

with Mr. Adam Rapa (What a guy!!) from Blast!

I was absent, though.

You can check the pics and trailer video from the link above.

Thanks for the link. GE was the caption for sure. I'm sure ohigashi is already thinking about how to make it better. I'm super excited about the ideas being looked at for this year.

It's been a great 2 years so far with Inspires. It doesn't hurt that those kids can play absolutely anything you give them. The mellophones were downright freaks.

I am actually already starting on the new book. Should have a rough draft in the next few weeks.

woo hoo!

We are loosing only few horn players so we will have 64 horns.

Where are you going to put them?

and 2006 show is tittled "M".

M is for Malaguena.

HCN is only 2weeks away. It is going to be great.

You would wait until after I am gone to do all this fun stuff!

By the way, thanks to Eddie for coming on Box Center and giving a report about the DCJ championships, as well as explaining some of the differences between North American and Japanese drum corps. The show will (hopefully) be released tomorrow (Friday).

That was fun too. I have this fear though that people are going to listen to it and think "this dork doesn't know what he's talkin about." :sshh:
