OhioStateTad
If you're looking for an explanation, I think "Cavaliers pwn" will do. pwn?
MN DCI Fan
"pwn": A typo-deliberate version of own, a slang term used to express superiority over others that can be used maliciously, depending on the situation.
ScribeToo
pwn? It's Leet Speak.. or L33t.. it's kind of a gamer's language based on deliberately mistyping numbers and letters.. saying that PwN3z or "owns" is like saying.. "that rules" or "that kicks ###" Stef
Iplaytimpani
Having heard him announce on many occasion, I've never noticed any bias. But if there was any bias, dont we think maybe it would be with Phantom, who if memory serves me correct he is touring with for part of the summer? yabetterbelieveit
I know what I hear and how I hear it. If the guy just loves the corps, hey, that's fine. Yea, but he should NEVER convey to the audience his personal emotions. If he's going to get excited about one corps, he should do it for EVERY corps, regardless of the situation. Very unprofessional. If there is one word that I would NEVER use in reference to Brandt Crocker, it's "unprofessional."

Brandt Crocker is one of the all-time greats when it comes to announcing. He, indeed, does give EVERY corps the best he can, and has been doing for well over 30 years... If you have every heard him announce, you would know this.
Ben
why is it that all of a sudden a true icon is being dragged under the bus because of someone's opinon?!!!! someone thinks he's "bias", then all of a sudden he's "unprofessional" you guys are sick <**>
Iplaytimpani
Lets pretend for a minute that he does have a bias. If he was the biggest Cavaliers fan in the world and single handedly kept them on the road, does it matter? Are we all so topiced out that the best we can do today is if the best announcer in DCI has a bias? He doesnt make up the scores before he announces them! C'mon guys... he's a guy thats good at a job. And that job is announcing scores that the judges come up. Wouldnt we be better off discussing the judges biases?
