Anyone who thinks I'm so pro-Madison and anti-Bloo can go to soundmachine.org and read my review of 2001 finals - one where I raved about the Bluecoats (and thought they should have placed higher) and where I was trying very hard to be as nice as I could about Madison's performance. I'm sure this will be an exciting season for all corps involved. In terms of your opinion that the bluecoats will peak early due to what you noted was easy/simplistic drill, i can't refute or agree with your analysis because i havnt seen the show- but I hope to get a look at each of the corps at Indy and give an honest analysis of these issues we are talking about now- perhaps i will come away with the same result- or perhaps i will come away with a result that agrees with other reviewers- perhaps it will be somewhere inbetween. I can only hope that each corps does the best that they can and give their best performances the last day of competition in august and that the judges are able to sort things accordingly.
