jimott01
Here we go!! 1. Phantom Regiment - 98.125 2. Blue Devils - 97.850 2. Cavaliers - 97.850 4. Cadets - 95.850 5. Bluecoats - 95.450 6. Santa Clara Vanguard - 94.9 I just want to say, who ever included captions in their scores, where did you get those? Blue Devils and Phantom have been killing Cavies in brass all season, and Blue Devils have beaten Phantom in drums many times. I have been on tour all summer, and I can tell you that the vibe around the judges and DCI in general is that Cavies won't win the majority of the captions but could take GE and win the title. They have too many problems with technique player to player to win brass, and they have some major technique and foot timing issues to win anything visual, except GE. It could be like 2001, GE and a championship, wow, it must be nice to have a design staff earn your title for you.

Blue Devils and Phantom have been killing Cavies in brass all season, and Blue Devils have beaten Phantom in drums many times. Wrong on both counts. Where did you get your info? Blue Devils are 2-3-1 against Regiment in percussion. They actually have a losing record against them, so I wouldn't say they have beaten them "many" times. They've beaten them twice. The Cavaliers are 5-1 against Regiment in brass, and 5-1 versus the Devils in brass.

By looking at past recaps from the Regional Shows, thats how I came up with my conclusion. Phantom has been exceeding in percussion and have had a significant jump since from the 2nd regional to the recent one. Cavaliers brass and has just been amazing and almost full pointed BD at one show. It will be close between Devs and Cavies in Visual Performance, but I think Cavies will definitely win the GE caption overall. Percussion on the other hand, Phantom is just throwing down this year, but also bluecoats may have a chance, and Devs as well. So it will be close in that area as well. Guard, I have to say devs... their guard is just clean as ####...

CloudFuel
* Just to clarify * - ALL scores must be 100% accurate, they can be on ANY night, but they all have to be on the same night (so no partial night scores allowed) - You get 20 bucks if all of these criteria are met. :) - Also... I don't care about captions.. so don't waste your time! - And.. I'm not including all 23 corps or even the top 12 because there is NO WAY anyone would win.. I'm trying to make it a wee bit easier.. but still only someone TRULY lucky and deserving of money will win. :) - ALSO... all scores must be finalized by time the first of these corps (SCV) steps onto the field for each individual night. If you are guessing for multiple nights YOU MUST CLARIFY FOR EACH NIGHT! :) Edited August 10, 2006 by CloudFuel
