zachariaswmb
I have a hard time trying to figure out the definitive performance of Ginastera's Danza Finale from Malambo. I believe you mean Estancia?

GMichael1230
I have a hard time trying to figure out the definitive performance of Ginastera's Danza Finale from Malambo. I think it's GOT to be '79 Phantom, though I prefer their '93 version. And BD's version was really a spin-off of the original anyway. I agree. Loved BD, loved 93 Phantom, but 79 Phantom, where I was introduced to it, is the best overall. ~G~

Lance
I believe you mean Estancia? Yes, thanks. Danza Final was a Malambo from Estancia. I really did know that, but I'm getting old and stuff.

Jim Anello
Fanfare For the New-Argonne Rebels 1973. Hysterical, considering how good the hornline is and the fact that the bugles back then were made out of Scotch tape and old national Geographics. The Guardsmen's treatment of this piece is pretty wonderful in its own right. While I wouldn't say the horn line was as good as Argonne's, they were mighty nice all the same. Plus, Guardsmen's drum line held up their end of the bargain much more effectively than Argonne's.
