euphonium96
I like Southwind's new uni's. Nothing to out there and I think that is going to work for them. Do we happen to know who the designer was? Designed by their director, produced by Stanbury - as I heard it anyhow... -B
CarolinaOnMyMind
Southwind's new uniforms look like NASCAR jump suits.
Caveman28469
It is that same thinking that has hels spirit back for years. They have to honor their past..they have to play Georgia..they must have the delta on the unifrom.Frankly, as a Spirit Alum, I could give a crap. I just want them to do well on and off the field. I think it is refreshing that the corps is going in a non-traditional direction..lets face it: The old delta/baby blue look was getting tired. Southern Jazz has been played out. They are no longer the only corps from the south. The corps has not been from Atlanta for 7 years now........ A corps that gets to wrapped up in its legacy will hurt for it in the long run. Honor your past..but understand, the past is in the past!!! Totally agree! Honestly, I was worried when I first seen the sketch that was drawn. But after seeing it in person at the preview show, it is going to work well and I have grown to like it.
arno0940
Really digging Southwind's unis - Very sharp! I think this year has to be a record for the number of corps sporting new unis.

MikeN
The most interesting part for me is that Madison is the only corps whose new unis include wings on the shoulders. Don't guess it really means anything, just kind of interesting to note the trend. Mike
kdaddy
I'd put Southwind at the top of the new unis this season. I like that there isn't *too* much yellow. And I'd like to all-black if so many other corps didn't prominently feature black...
myopinion
wow....i'm impressed with SW new uniforms. The yellow is their own style. I can't think of another Div I corps where yellow is used... other than as an accent color. I'm glad that they have gone back to it.
cheevan
Am I the only alum who doesn't really dig Colts' new uniform? :( It looks like a mix of Academy+Mandarins+Fever(D2/3) to me... I like the 2000~2006 jacket better. And the 00~01 guntlet.
