Wildabeast
Having seen the show BOTH nights, I think the VANGUARD YELL's spot is PAINFULLY OBVIOUS:THE VANGUARD YELL IS WHEN THEY FORM THE HUGE EXPLANATION POINT AND HALT!!!! Hope that clears it up for everyone! Someone mentioned in another thread that if there's a yell in the opener, you're supposed to say "Eureka!" The closer is supposed to have a place to yell "Vanguard!" If anyone is going to the Bakersfield show on Wednesday, perhaps the closer will be revealed. Wildabeast
I was at Magoo's - you should have come and said Hi. Heh, I didn't know who was who, being with Calvin & Malletphreak. I knew some people (Jeff DeMello, Joe Haworth, etc.) I inadvertantly had an opportunity to chat with a resident "drunk". Next opportunity I'll have to meet & say "Hi" to people will probably be the California State Open (Sunnyvale).

As I understand it, it is in fact a eureka yell in the opener. Although I have herd of many fans trying to insert the Vanguard yell there. Hopefully upon completion of the closer they will both have there spots clarified.

"Eureka" IS the yell at the exclamation point form..."Vanguard" is later in the show (past the point where the performance stopped....drill wasn't ready, probably). Key said when he puts the "Vanguard" in, it's near the end of the show.
keyp
Rare post: Yes, it will be painfully obvious! Confirming the myths - "Eureka" at the 3:00 mark when you see the "!". "Vanguard" near the end. And yes, the design team and staff refers to these as.... The Eureka Halt The Vanguard Halt I decided in 2004 that it's better to program them in where they make sense rather than having "Random SCV Fan" attempt to find a place. See you on the road...
