Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with him as he heals and works to get himself back to normal.

As a professional drummer and educator; did/do you have a day job and how does this affect you?
I work a regular job as a builder. As the activity has been a hobby since I was 8 years old, it has always been a part of my life. My wife and I are both involved so it really doesn't affect us as we don't know any other way.

Wherever they go, they're watched.
They're critiqued on the way they hold their instruments, their footwork, their poise. If they march too fast or too slow, someone notices. And if they lose their focus -- even for an instant -- someone is sure to tell them.
