CGN Championships Broadcast On Web This Saturday

The Color Guard Nederland Championships 2006 will be held this saturday, March 25 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The Indoor Sportcentrum will be filled with action all day and at the end of nearly 13 hours of competition we will know six new CGN Color Guard & Indoor Percussion Champions.

A group of 48 units from the Netherlands, Germany, France and England will compete. All groups will fight for a finalsspot first at the CGN prelims starting at 9 AM Dutch time. These groups will go on to finals. The Concert Open Class will have finals in the afternoon and at 17.00 prizes will be given in this class.

The finals show, start at 18.30 Dutch time will feature the best of each class, namely Prep Class (3), Cadet Class (3), A-Class (7) and Open Class (5). The three best groups in the Indoor Percussion Marching Open Class participate and there’s an exhibition by the Concert Open Class (percussion) Champion.

Just like in the past CGN will broadcast it’s Championships online. This will feature updates all day and still images updated every 15 seconds. Scores will be posted as soon as possible after the performance of the group. That’s not where it ends as there are reports, pictures and audioclips available all day. The broadcast starts at 9AM Dutch time, 8AM UK time and 3AM EST and can be found at www.colorguard.org.
