Statement From Muremo On The DCUK Website

Muremo, the organiser of the European tour of The Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps, has asked Drum Corps United Kingdom to post a statement on their website regarding the UK event ‘East of England Invitational’.

The UK event with The Glassmen will not be a DCUK or BYBA contest. Many people on the DCUK Discussion Group wondered why this decision was made and by who. Jean Paul Ratajczak, President of the Belgian company Muremo, stated: "I made the decision not to do a contest on 2nd July. Reason was that I, as the the only person, was taking the whole financial risk for the event, even it would have been a contest."
