Vanguard Cadets Select Drum Majors

The Vanguard Cadets are pleased to announce their two Drum Majors for the 2006 season, Ted Sands and Scott Schroeder. Ted is a returning Drum Major from the 2005 season and Scott was selected from a set of very qualified audition candidates over the past two months.

Ted Sands graduated from Ponderosa High School and has taught for the United Spirit Association on the drum major staff. He moved to the bay area to attend Stanford University as a double major in Economics and Urban Studies. Ted’s future plans include graduate school.
