DOWNBEAT is held on the campus of Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. Students will stay in dorm suites and eat in the university cafeteria. This camp is for both intermediate and advanced level drummers who want to focus on improving their snare technique and ensemble playing. You’ll drum the entire weekend playing with some of the best, “hard-core” drummers in the area. Lead clinicians include Michael McCray of Memphis Sound and Shane Gwaltney of Music City Mystique. This is an intense weekend focusing on snare line performance, preparing you to play snare drum at the highest level. Come ready to drum!

Cost: $200 – includes all pair of custom drum sticks

Deadline, cancellation & refund policy: Registration deadline is May 15, 2006. Cancellations received by May 15 will be entitled to a full refund. Cancellations made from May 15-26 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after May 26.

Your fee includes a pair of custom drum sticks from Innovative Percussion and a Dynasty tee-shirt. You should bring a marching snare drum*, a snare drum stand, an additional pair of sticks, and a practice pad. (* If you cannot bring a drum, one will be provided.)
