Cadets Begin Spring Training In West Virginia

The Cadets have increased the population of Buckhannon, WV by about 275 – members, staff and volunteers. The weather at Pittsburgh International Airport was a grey & damp 54 degrees where most of the members (and ALL of their luggage) greeted the bus.

After a 3 hour ride through some beautiful mountainous views of southwestern PA and WV, the excitement and anticipation was felt throughout the bus when they finally arrived – only to be greeted by the entire town! This is strawberry season in Buckhannon, WV and the town was lined up on the sides of Main Street awaiting the start of a parade just as the Cadets convoy rolled into town. A photo of the Cadets embraced the top of one section of the local newspaper Thursday, announcing their participation of the Strawberry Festival events to come.
