Glassmen Showcase “Rocks The House”

The GLASSMEN kicked off the 2006 season in style last weekend as they presented their first annual GLASSMEN Showcase event – a day to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the GLASSMEN, and a preview of the corps’ upcoming summer season!

The Showcase included a Master Class and performances by Mark Ford, a 45th Anniversary VIP celebration, and a full 2-hour concert featuring the GLASSMEN. "There’s such a family atmosphere here at the GLASSMEN," said Ford. "The way everyone works together and interacts – it’s truly amazing!"

The GLASSMEN performed music from their field show, "Mastery and Madness."

With the Symphony Concerts and Showcase event under their belts, the GLASSMEN will concentrate on their Spring Training and everyday rehearsals leading up to the summer tour. Having already moved in on May 19th, the corps will perform in three local parades and preview the field show at Family Day on June 11th before making their DCI debut in Oswego, Illinois, on June 16th. The corps will return to Toledo to feature their All-Star Review Competition on June 17th and then finish in Lisle, Illinois on Sunday, June 18th before departing for Europe.
