Chicagoland Drum Corps/Winter Guard Reunion

The Chicago metropolitan area has over many decades been the home to countless drum corps and winter color guards. Corps of another era come alive when we look back at the history books and some of the best came from the Chicago area. Did you know that five of the 12 finalist corps at the 1968 VFW Nationals in Detroit were from Chicagoland? Recall the names of many a Midwest color guard who kept our winters exciting before Winter Guard International existed.

We had so much fun last year, we’ve decided to do it again!

On Sunday afternoon, August 6th, 2006 the memories can be relived and the stories retold at the 2nd Annual Chicagoland Drum Corps & Winter Guard Reunion. This event is open to all former Chicagoland junior and senior corps and winter guards looking for an opportunity to get together with their legacy brothers and sisters. We would also like to include groups that were based in the far suburbs or even those who spent many a weekend in the Chicago metropolitan area competing.
